Hengxin Thread Factory is a company founded in 1994, specialized in filament yarns twisting and doubling. In 1992, founder Chen Zelin started the trading business of high tenacity continuous filament threads. In 1994, Chen Zelin decided to produce sewing threads by himself due to shortage of sewing thread supply from other sewing thread factories. Within 16 years, Hengxin grows its productivity from a 2,000 squares workshop to a 20,000 squares tidy building with self-own dyeing house. At its peak, the factory had close to 500 employees. In 2012, Chen Zelin retired, and his son in law Zeng Yongyi took over the company. Zeng Yongyi was focusing on product improvement, to achieve better quality and cost-effective. In the next 12 years, Zeng Yongyi replaced all old twisting machines with new machines, which ensure stable production and less labor force required. Now, Hengxin has higher productive capacity, but with only 200 employees. In 2024, Hengxin applied new techniques and machines, like SSM winding machines, to satisfy customers' increasing quality requirements. Now Hengxin's productive capacity is over 800 tons per month. Selling over 30+ countries, dominating the high quality sewing thread market in China.
